We keep a local copy of a maleware, spyware and antivirus tools on our server. We do this because sometimes malware/virus infections can prevent you from going to known maleware/AV site to get the cleaning tool. Having the tool at our site increases you chances of being able to download something to remove the infestation.
We recommend downloading from here, installing and running a scan prior to updating. Once you can run a clean scan, then run an update and scan again. Remember, cleaning malware and viruses off your PC can take several passes; one time through for an infected PC is generally not enough.
